They tasted OK, lovely spanish food
Just back from a lovely break in Spain, Costa del Sol, turned out to be Costa del Cloud most of the time.
Couldn't resist the photo, they actually tasted Ok especially when dunked in a cup of coffee.
Let you work out what happened later, LOL
We were lucky that there was the local Faria, (Fair), on whilst we were away, plenty of wonderful horses and locals on show, seems the riders like a drink whilst on horseback, the horses did not have a drink from the local bars LOL

Hugglets Festival, Kensington, London, Sept 2015
Just got home after exhibiting at the Hugglets Teddies Festival held at Kensington Town Hall in London last sunday.
Wow, what a day, an early start as this time we decided to catch the train into London, at the station for the first train, when an announcement came over the speakers, I looked at Keith and said when is the next train, do we have time to get there.
Well relief was soon felt, as the announcement was just for a 5 minute delay and not a cancellation. Thank goodness.
Arrived at the town hall in good time and set up was easy and relaxed, time for a cup of tea, LOL.
We saw Kevin, a collector of my creations, and he was first in the queue, with at least an hour and a half before the doors opened for the public.
1030 comes, and the show is now open, who was first to our stand, Kevin, and he adopted a couple more of my creations.
Then seconds later, Julie arrived with her daughter, having seen some creations on the website she took home creations to add to her collection.
The day continued very successfully with friends coming and having a chat, and also more creations found new homes.
There was fewer numbers of the public this time, but there was other large events taking place in London today, which caused travel problems, so that might have put them off from attending.
A highlight was when Jena Pang came over to us in his very quiet jacket and bear shoes, the jacket being a animal print, and stood out a mile, great to see him again as we thought he had permanently moved away from Britain, but he seems to be flying backwards and forwards all over the place.
The afternoon was very quiet, and I think that is what makes it a long day.
Eventually 1600 comes and it is time to pack up and get home,
A great taxi ride back to the train station, a few minutes wait for the train, and then we are home, time to celebrate, with fish and chips, LOL.
A really big thanks to everyone who adopted my creations, and to those who made the effort to come and speak with both Keith and myself, THANK YOU , we really do appreciate your friendship and wonderful comments.
Now I had better get cracking and make some new creations for the website, or Keith will be moaning at me, nothing new there then.
Thanks again
Bearst wishes

Lovely couple of days, LOL
Keith has been having a lovely couple of days as my sister, Elizabeth , has been visiting us.
He has been wearing ear plugs most of the time, lol.
He has also posted this without us knowing about it, his revenge of not being able to hear the TV.
It is a standing joke about using Paintshop, well it just had to be........
As you might have guessed, Keith posted this, it could well be his post, although Maw needs me on Sunday for the show, so I might survive.

Our latest garden guests
Well what a shock, we have just been tidying up our back garden and these 2 appeared.
We are guessing they could be Mr and Mrs, but not sure exactly what they are, any ideas, we would be grateful for an answer.
Bearst wishes

Horace, still has not learnt to use a knife and fork, LOL
We are not sure if this is the same hedgehog from last year, but Horace, we always call our prickly visitors, Horace, certainly enjoyed his take-away.

BBC Gardeners World Live and the Good Food Show at the NEC
A wonderful display from The City Of Birmingham
Micheal Caines, what a genuine man he seems to be
Tom Kerridge, we had to look twice as he has lost so much weight
James Martin, as natural as ever, a top bloke.
We have just got back from a couple of days away at The NEC in Birmingham.
Gardening and Cooking at its very best.
The Floral Marquee was a real inspiration, if only we could grow our plants as they manage to do so.
The food show had plenty of samples to taste, or drink, lol.
A great show, but if you are going, check to make sure you get the discounted price for the tickets, or it can be a dear day out, but well worth it.

back from holiday -and surprise
Just back from a wonderful break in southern Spain, a few days the weather was to hot for both myself and Keith.
If only we could wake up with the fabulous view from our hotel room, that would be bliss.
But as the lower picture shows, we had a real shock one morning.
Looking out from our balcony we saw people on the beach pointing out to sea, then Keith got his camera out and aimed and hoped to catch what was happening.
As I said to him, there they are, he clicked his camera, but kept saying they were to fast for him.
In the end he just aimed and clicked in hope, but when we checked the photos he had taken, Yes, got them, was shouted out in excitement.
Dolphins, what a thrill and surprise and we have never seen them before.
Many thanks to all the staff at The Yaramar
Now it is back to normal household duties and Keith trying to get his computer working properly.
New creations will appear on the website soon, sorry for the slow progress of the creations.
Bearst wishes.

My special card for a special young man
Here is my special card for a very special young man, no its not for Keith, he does not qualify in the young department, LOL
It for our grandson Jake who is doing really well at school, so well done to him.
Its has been really busy since the Kensington show, with spring coming we have been out trying to get the garden sorted out, and the aches and pains reappeared after not having been out in the garden during the winter.
Keith has had to redo the website completely as he got an email saying that the Windows servers were being updated, well that means nothing to me, so well done to the old man for sorting it out, and hopefully the website is looking good and working well.

Kensington, London Feb 22nd 2015
This is how my stand looked at the start of the day at the Bear Fair in London yesterday.
I am really pleased to say that most of the creations found new homes and some have even moved overseas, to France and the USA.
I was really pleased that so many friends came and spoke to us, and the compliments made were extremely kind and very much appreciated, if we did not get chance to speak to you I am sorry.
During a fairly long day there were moments of laughter, especially the ladies from Manchester who were having problems on how to get bears into the hand luggage for the plane home, my, they came up with some really wacky ideas, it was a real laugh.
To everyone who came to my stand, thank you very much.
To those of you who have been waiting for creations to go on to the website, thank you for your patience, and Keith has now updated the site.
Thanks again
Bearst wishes

where does all the time go
It just seems a little while ago we were preparing for Xmas and the new year of 2014, I suppose getting old means the time goes quicker, LOL.
By popular request the naughty bears have reappeared on the website, but they also have jumped onto the blog, clever things.
From myself and Keith have a great Xmas, and all the bearst for a very Happy New Year.
Thank you for all your support over the past year, it is really appreciated.

Very hungry caterpillars
I guess you now that Keith and I love our garden, well over the past week, and we are in the middle of October, we were shocked to see that our stocks, and only our stocks had been decimated by caterpillars.
We just hope that the caterpillars go through their life cycle and will eventually produce some butterflies, at least that will justify the cost of the plants.
If you know what type of caterpillar they are, we would be very grateful if you can let us know.

great time in London
What a great time we had when we took Jake for his first visit to London.
We did a lot of the tourist spots, including the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, showed him Big Ben, and saw the wonderful poppy installation , details below.
We did a lot of the tourist spots, including the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, showed him Big Ben, and saw the wonderful poppy installation , details below.
the major art installation Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red at the Tower of London, marking one hundred years since the first full day of Britain's involvement in the First World War. Created by ceramic artist Paul Cummins, with setting by stage designer Tom Piper, 888,246 ceramic poppies will progressively fill the Tower's famous moat over the summer. Each poppy represents a British military fatality during the war.
The poppies will encircle the iconic landmark, creating not only a spectacular display visible from all around the Tower but also a location for personal reflection. The scale of the installation intends to reflect the magnitude of such an important centenary creating a powerful visual commemoration.
We are hoping to sell all of the poppies that make up the installation and, in doing so, raise millions of pounds which will be shared equally amongst six service charities.
There is a link to the lots of photos below.

our wild flower meadow
We have had great pleasure from trying to grow a wild flower meadow in our back garden.
Yes some of the lawn had to go, but the variety of insect and flowers has been wonderful.
It is amazing just how some of the flower manage to grow in such shapes.
Hopefully this will attract some butterflies soon.
Keith has put some more photos of the Adam Henson Bees and Butterflies seeds on the following link

BBC Gardeners World Live and food show at the NEC, with a very laid back Monty Don
What a couple of days we have had, visiting the BBC Gardeners World live and BBC food show at the NEC.
The photo above is taken at a talk by a very laid back Monty Don, shame to say Nigel did not make an appearance.
Try and work out what Carol Klein is sniffing in one of the photos in the album, link below.
Joe Swift is just the same as when you see him on the TV, top bloke.
Fantastic flower displays, especially the Birmingham Council display, very moving.
We managed to get to see lots of both gardeners and chefs, James Martin was really genuine with his thanks to the large crowd in the super theatre.
We also timed it just right to see the first cookery demonstration from Ping Coombes, the Masterchef 2014 winner, she was a breath of fresh air to cooking displays, well done to her.
Keith managed to win a £20 gift voucher, just for being the first person to stand up at another cooker demonstration.
The link below will take you to Keiths photos from both shows, yes get a cup of tea, Keith took lots of photos, LOL.
